Bob Koomen & Diederik Zuurmond Double (try-out)

Diederik and Bob are going to the Edinburgh Fringe, but first they want to try out their shows. This is your chance to see what these two guys have in store. Their first collaboration, their road to Edinburgh. Expect hearing some very interesting things, expect some absurdism, but most of all: expect Diederik and Bob, because they will be there. You may have seen them open for other international acts here this season.

Bob: Bob is a genius, but the world doesn’t see it yet. He has good intentions, and even better ideas. Ideas to help the world, but the world often acts as if he is the one who needs help. This show will put an end to this problem.

Diederik: Diederik is a british-born amsterdam-based award-winning stand-up comedian and hyphenator. His comedy is silly and dark and a little bit sexy?

Kyle Dunnigan (US)

Kyle Dunnigan is an Emmy, Peabody, and Writer’s Guild Award winning comedy writer. He also won an Emmy for the most outstanding original music for the song “Girl You Don’t Need Make Up”. In 2024 he starred as Johnny Carson and Walter Cronkite in the Jerry Seinfeld movie, “Unfrosted” on Netflix and Eddie in Adam Carolla’s animated series, “Mr. Birchum”. He also starred in several sketches on the hit Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer” and recurred on “Reno 911” as Craig a.k.a The Truckee River Killer. Most recently, Kyle has been frequently featured on the popular live podcast “Kill Tony” as his various characters.

As a standup, Kyle has a half hour special on Comedy Central and has appeared on Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Seth Meyers, Jay Leno, and Craig Ferguson along with numerous festival performances including SF Sketch Fest, Montreal, and Just For Laughs. Kyle has a significant online presence with over 1.4 million followers and was featured in The New York Times best comedy of 2018.​

Mike Rice (IRL)

Mike Rice Irish farmer’s son, and general Nasty Character Mike Rice is one of Ireland and the UK’s fastest rising comedy stars. Having started comedy in 2016 Mike has amassed a large online following from podcast and stand up clips, regularly getting millions of views on various platforms. 

Mike began stand up comedy in Chicago, where within two years he was working regularly at the most prestigious clubs in the city, including The Laugh Factory. He has since returned home because his mother made him, and has been quickly rising in the Irish, and European scene, playing regularly in major clubs in Dublin and London, where he won the King Gong at the Comedy Store.

Mike brought his first solo show The Best Boy in Ireland to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018, in what was a sold-out run, and performed that same show to sold-out rooms at the Perth Fringe Festival in 2019.

As well as co-hosting Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting with Vittorio Angelone, and Big Mike and The Chief with Rob Moriarty, Mike has appeared multiple times on smash hit podcast Have a Word, and released his first comedy special in October 2023.
