Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, actress/comedian Michelle Buteau brings her unique perspective and big personality to stage and screen. Michelle can currently be seen in the Netflix movie ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE with Ali Wong and as one of the leads in the TV remake of FIRST WIVES CLUB, available on BET+. Other film and TV credits include TALES OF THE CITY, RUSSIAN DOLL and SOMEONE GREAT. Michelle has had stand-up specials on Netflix and Comedy Central, and was also featured on 2 DOPE QUEENS on HBO. She also co-hosts the popular podcast ADULTING with Jordan Carlos.
